WHY VERIFY BEFORE YOU SIGN

Expired can mean unregistered.

Washington treats an expired, suspended, or revoked contractor registration as unregistered. The exception is when the contractor kept the required bond and insurance or assigned account current and the lapse was 30 days or fewer.

CONTRACTORS & GENERAL CONTRACTORS

Working while unregistered—or subcontracting to or using an unregistered contractor—can lead to civil infractions and fines.

HOMEOWNERS & PERMIT APPLICANTS
